Does This Sound Familiar?
If any of these feel familiar, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
“I know what to do, but I’m not doing it”
Obsessing over food or body image/weight
Feeling out of control around food
Avoiding or feeling anxious attending events that have food
Skipping meals or snacks to “make up” for eating the previous day
Feeling like you need to “earn” your food
Beating yourself up after eating
Feeling like you’ve ruined your day if you have a “bad” food
Now Imagine…
Being able to keep that food in the house (you know the ones) without obsessing or bingeing
Not eating in secret due to guilt or shame
Actual enjoyment of food without judgment or feeling out of control
Feeling nourished by food
Not needing food to cope or numb out
My goal is to provide a safe and collaborative space for clients by using curiosity, self-compassion, and a non-judgmental stance around food and weight. In using mindful/intuitive eating techniques I hope to guide you towards eliminating harmful behaviors and enjoy food again.
